Ambu healthcare product brochure design and marketing
Ambu is a Danish company, with a UK office in St Ives, Cambridgeshire, which develops, produces and markets diagnostic and life-supporting equipment and healthcare solutions to hospitals and rescue services. With their most notable products being the Ambu bag, Blue Sensor electrodes and the aScope single-use videoscope, which are used widely in healthcare and rescue.
Ambu originally came to ImageVitae to help promote their Neuroline Concentric Needles, wanting a bespoke mailout leaflet which could show important product information and hold sample needle packs. The leaflet also had to adhere to Ambu’s new corporate guidelines which had just been released from their head office in Denmark. The result was a six page roll-fold leaflet and outer sleeve that revealed information and the sample products when fully opened. Following on from the success of this mailer, Ambu then requested subsequent simplified versions, without the sleeve and need for samples, to promote their Aura Laryngeal Masks and their Spur II Resuscitation Bags.
Ambu also required a bespoke mailout leaflet to promote their Blue Sensor ECG Electrodes. This time the bespoke packaging had to hold a substantial sample pack of electrodes whilst remaining within printing paper size constraints. This was in part achieved by using a curved cutter guide on the cover which tied in with the corporate guidelines and became an integral part of the cover design.
ImageVitae subsequently helped Ambu with their healthcare product brochure design. Bringing together all their healthcare solutions into a range of individual sectioned brochures and a single combined master brochure. This process involved taking a multitude of existing information, which was then edited, updated and restyled to the latest Ambu guidelines and brought together into six separate brochures covering the fields of Cardiology, Neuroline, Visualisation Solutions, Airway, Electrosurgery and Pre-Hospital. Once completed the six individual brochures were then edited and combined to create a master brochure. The new brochures are colour coded for easy section identification and include section introductions, product listings, imagery, descriptions, features and specifications, providing a clear and concise source of information for Ambu’s wide range of products. The final brochures are available in printed form and online or via email as a pdf.
ImageVitae have also designed a wide range of Ambu’s general promotional media and literature. From redesigning their existing newsletter to information posters, flyers, folder inserts and quick guides and all to the new corporate guidelines.
